North Cascades Hiking
My eldest brother and I hiked to Copper Lookout in North Cascades National Park. It is accessed from the Mt. Baker highway. It was a scout trip for a multi-day backpacking trip in the same area, but at 18.4 miles it wasn’t easy. The views were spectacular but since I forgot my DSLR the photos lack depth. I don’t think I can replace a DSLR with an iPhone camera on future trips.
- Bell pepper and mushroom omelette
- Pausing to take in the scenery
- There were quite a few trunks like this
- Egg lake, a backcountry campground
- My quest for epic pictures of myself
- At the top!
- The trail overview
- Behind our second campsite
- My living room turned into gear drying
Loved the photos Mark. What a beautiful world!
